Position Details

Post Name: Deputy Director (Data Center Facility Engineer)

Maximum Age: 44 Years (including age relaxation)

Job Location: Islamabad

Contract Duration: 5 Years (extendable if required)

Educational Requirements

Criteria	Details
Education	Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent related field
Education Level	Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory
Degree Verification	All degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Experience and Professional Skills

• At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in data center management and operations
• Experience in data center design, RFP, RFQ, and SLA preparation
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing SOPs, policies, and guidelines for passive infrastructure management
• Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent certification will be preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems and cooling calculations
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of data center passive infrastructure
• Coordinate with IT and network teams to support active infrastructure requirements
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards
• Monitor performance and reliability of data center facilities

Terms and Conditions

• The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of 5 years
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test or interview
• False or incorrect information will result in disqualification
• Government and semi-government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
• Medical fitness and character certificates will be required at the time of selection
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview
• Electronic devices such as mobile phones and smart watches are not allowed during test or interview
